Where customers come from
The workshop is in Bankfoot, between Perth and Dunkeld. Customers come from Perth and right across Perthshire, from Forgandenny in the south to Birnam just up the road.
How a piece gets to the bench depends on what it is and where it is. Ring or text Craig and he'll talk it through with you.

Perth, Strathmore and Highland Perthshire
From Perth and Scone, Bankfoot is a short run up the old A9. From Dunkeld, Birnam and Pitlochry it's down the same road. Blairgowrie and Coupar Angus are across Strathmore, and Crieff and Auchterarder over in Strathearn.
Further afield, a photo by text is still the best start. Chair seats in cane, rush or cord are often the easiest pieces to bring in.
Wherever you are, start with a photo
The quickest way to find out what a piece needs is a text with a few photos. Craig will look at them and get back to you.
Or, in his own words, "feel free to phone for an estimate or just for some advice."
Four photos that help
- The whole piece, standing on its own feet
- The damage, close up, in good daylight
- Underneath a seat or the back of a carcase
- Any maker's label or stamp you find
